Wadi Hanifa Project
The Wadi Hanifa Project grew out of a photography workshop organized by Arts and Skills Institute.
The idea was to explore Riyadh’s historic valley, in particular south of Riyadh and the new renovation to include parks, walkways and a lake. The project began with a talk by Jackie Leger, a project supervisor which included a short history as well as guidelines for photographing landscapes. The project was to include people, places and activities, exploring what the Wadi meant to them and to capture the experience through their own approach to photography either documentary or fine art.
