Arts and Skills Institute is the first institute for the study of Visual Arts and Fashion Design in Saudi Arabia. It offers a diploma certification accredited by the General Organization of Technical Education and Vocational Training of Saudi Arabia, with Box hill Institute as the educational partner from Melbourne, Australia.

The Institute provides a high standard of Art and Fashion education. The program reflects cultural values of contemporary society while incorporating the culture and tradition of Saudi Arabia.

It aims to develop professionals with knowledge and skills to establish Saudi Arabia on international scene of Fashion and Arts.

Arts and Skills Institute offers two courses:

  • Diploma of Visual Arts
  • Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Technology

Both Diploma certificates are registered by Box Hill Institute of Australia as international qualifications.

  • Duration of each: 2 years full time study
  • Year one: 2 semesters, 16 weeks each
  • Tear two: 2 semesters, 16 weeks each
  • 5 hours x 5 days a week

Visual Arts students are taught how to experiment with different materials and techniques through drawings, paintings and sculpture, exploring art history and contemporary world of art. They create original body of art work ready for individual exhibitions and develop network of industry contacts.

Fashion Design students learn how to create their own designer collections and how to manage quality production for competitive fashion market. During the course students participate in international fashion events and projects.

 Entry Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • English reading and writing skills.
  • Folio presentation
